Winter weather is here, so the perfect time to knit something. Already know how to knit? Why not come along and show us your skills.
Diane is volunteeering her time and will be teaching the basics of knitting on Thursday 8th June and Friday 9th June at Kookaburra Retreat. Session is for all levels from ‘never touched a needle/yard’ to ‘çan knit my own jumper’. The following Thursdays and Fridays for the Month of June can be spent working on your projects with the help of Diane and the group.
No need to bring anything, Kooka/SDFA have all you need to start the learning process however if you have something you want to make, feel free to bring the pattern/wool/kit along.
During and after the session you can chat with Diane about what project you’d like to do in the following weeks, or just keep practising with the group.
(Don’t want to knit but can Crochet? You are welcome to join in too)
Each session is $5 (cash on the day to Kooka).
Cheers, SDFA Committee and Diane Naisby
