The SDFA run activities during school holidays with each session usually running for four hours and are organised for parents to have some time out while their kids play with other kids. Dates for School Holiday Sessions’ are announced prior to the school holiday commencing. Bookings and payments for crèche are required in advance. The total number of children on each day is limited to around 16 (depending on the ages of children) which is decided by a ‘first in best dressed’ format. An event will be created for each session on this website with details and costs. However bookings are currently done via the SDFA facebook group (or you can phone the office 44215766). Once on the Facebook event, you will need to comment with your child’s/ren’s name/s and age/s. All bookings are not final until payment has been made and cancellations without proper notice will incur a fee (details in the facebook event).

Committee and/or General meetings are held every four to six weeks at Kookaburra Retreat. The date and time are emailed to members and an event is created for the facebook SDFA group. All current SDFA members are welcome to attend general meetings and participate with sharing ideas, learn how to volunteer, help out with fundraising or with simply admin tasks.
In addition you are welcome to have suggestions, however you must first see/email the SDFA secretary to ensure your issue is placed on the agenda. Alternately you may send a written submission to the SDFA Secretary to be raised at the next committee meeting.
