Pottery Class for beginners 9.30am – 12.30pm

Explore the practice of pottery with the lovely Gail from Southern Impressions and learn how a bit of clay is transformed into a piece of beautiful, long-lasting art.

In this Hand Building for Beginners course you will be given guidance in various aspects of the ceramics process and will make something to be proud of.

During this 2 part course you will be taken through the hand-building method. Session 1 (31st May) will show you how to employ various techniques of surface decoration, then your creations will be taken away for firing. Session 2 (TBC) will be about applying glazes.

Come with a readiness to learn and to get your hands dirty, and you will go home with several pieces designed and made by yourself.

Tickets are $20 per person (this covers both sessions)

Childcare will be available both days. (fees apply)
